Mass before we leave for Dotty
Thursday February 22 **Dotty Clark Championships**
When: February 23-25
We will leave from BK after school on Friday February 23rd for Salt Lake City. Our hotel is located in Sandy, which is a suburb just south of down town Salt Lake. Our travel time will be about 5 ½ hours with good roads. From Sandy we will have a short, 35 minute scenic bus ride to Brighton Resort where we will experience some of the most epic steep & deep in North America on both Saturday the 24th and Sunday 25st. After shredding the pow-pow Sunday we will hop on the bus and return back to BK.
Where: Brighton Resort, Utah
This resort sits at the head of Big Cottonwood Canyon and is one of the smallest resorts in the Wasatch Range. It has five high-speed quads accessing about 1000 acres and 1875 vertical feet. Brighton is a nice contrast to the mega resorts of Park City, Snowbird and Alta with fewer crowds but the same great snow. Brighton boasts over 500 inches of snowfall per year and has wonderful terrain for skiers and boarders of all levels and interests.
Who Can Go?
Everyone that qualifies for (at least 3 Saturday races) and races at Dotty Clark.
How Much? $325 per student!!
That is right, two nights lodging, two days skiing and transportation- all for $325! This price also includes breakfast on Saturday and Sunday at the hotel and the team will be providing Saturday night’s pizza dinner. All other expenses (food) is extra. To put this price in perspective it will cost you $278 for a Snowbird/Alta combo 2 day pass this year.
