BK Boys' Lacrosse Apparel and Equipment

Uniforms  (provided and owned by Club)

Spirit Pack  (required apparel for each player)

Cost is $135, cash or check to Bishop Kelly Boys’ Lacrosse Club, due at registration

Optional, but recommended apparel for players (given the variable spring weather in which we play)

The following items are recommended for all players, and may be purchased at a variety of local and online retailers.

Sweatpants or training tights

Base layer long sleeve training shirt

Wool or synthetic practice socks (not cotton, which will retain moisture), several pairs

 

Required equipment  (player provided)

  • Helmet (meeting National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) safety requirements, http://nocsae.org/standards/lacrosse/) Varsity players are required to wear an official BK helmet that can be purchased from LAX ID Lacrosse Shop, 8189 Westpark St, off Milwaukee next to Petco. JV players may wear any properly fitting helmet that meets National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) safety requirements. Helmet stickers will be provided by Club.
  • Shoulder pads with chest protector – make sure it has a hard plastic piece over the middle of the chest area to disperse the blow from a hard shot.
  • Arm guards
  • Gloves - custom BK gloves are available at LAX ID. These are optional for both JV and Varsity.
  • Stick - short pole (40-42 inches) for midfieldmen and attackmen and long pole (52-72 inches) for defensemen and LSMs
  • Cleats - recommend the mid height, to provide ankle protection
  • Protective Cup
  • Mouth Guard

Any new player wishing to purchase a BK helmet (required for varsity, optional for JV) should contact Nancy Jones, njones@stinker.com. 

Players will purchase the helmets directly from LAX ID, but if we order at least 6 helmets, we can get a discount.

The current Bishop Kelly Cascade R with Black Shell, Ath.Gold visor and chin, and Black mask team price is $179.99  That price includes free shipping.  (min. order of 6 helmets)
